Although City of Hudson and St. Croix County taxpayers fund a portion of the costs of operating our emergency medical services system, some of the charges are passed on to the patient through user fees.

After generating a bill, our staff work with insurance companies, Medicare, Medicaid, Worker's Compensation and individual patients to facilitate the payment process. We also serve as the custodian of medical records for EMS and respond to subpoenas if these records are needed for legal matters.
